The route begins in Puerto Natales driving out to Torres del Paine National Park. Spanning more than 242,242 ha (598,593 ac) this nature wonderland was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. A drive along the park will reveal the impressive Andean massif, with its horned peaks that impact all visitors alike. The area is surrounded by glaciers (Grey), waterfalls, lagoons and lakes (Pehoe) that together with the wide-ranging flora and fauna turn this park into one of the wonders of the world for its beauty and natural scenery. Time off for lunch which is included.
Taking the road back to Puerto Natales, a second important visit is made, this time to the Milodon Cave, a Natural Monument where the remains of a prehistoric animal were discovered. Visit of the area and return to Puerto Natales.
