Petrohue Falls & Osorno Volcano

Starting from the charming town of Puerto Varas, overlooking Llanquihue Lake, pass by the mouth of Rio Pescado (Pescado River) as well as numerous quaint villages, before reaching Ensenada, a small village at the foot of the Osorno Volcano. Ascending up to reach the Ski y Montaña Volcan Osorno Centre (several breaks will be made along the way) allows for spectacular panoramic views. At the top, spend time soaking up the view up to the summit of the volcano, Lake Llanquihue and on a clear day over to the Pacific Ocean. After visiting the volcano, next stop is the Petrohue Falls. Traversing boardwalks allows for beautiful views of the river's turquoise blue waters and the large masses of crystallised lava, formed by volcanic eruptions. End the trip at Todos Los Santos Lake before returning to Puerto Varas.
