Nestled amid jungle covered hillside overlooking the tranquil waters of Drake Bay, Aguila de Osa is a jungle eco lodge offering convenient access to the beautiful Corcovado National Park and Caño Island Biological Marine Reserve.
Aguila de Osa is reached by a 40 minute flight from San Jose to Palmar Sur, then a 15 minute road journey to Sierpe followed by a one hour boat trip reach the lodge. Vibrant green rainforest serves as a backdrop for the lodge which sits along the stunning Pacific shoreline.
Staying at the lodge, guests can expect fantastic wildlife spotting opportunities and a pristine rainforest experience with an array of water and land based activities on offer. Large thatched wooden cabins are simple yet very comfortable offering views of the surrounding lush jungle. Each have ceiling fans and screened windows.
The open air restaurant serves delicious local dishes with a tropical flair and there is a bar on site. The hotel works closely with the local community and works hard to preserve the environment for future generations. Water comes from the Inn’s own well and food waste is composted and used on the hotel’s organic gardens.
