Selvatura Canopy and Walkways

Selvatura Park is a cloud forest conservation project where a wide variety of tours are hosted.  Visitors can glide along zip lines (canopy tour) through the cloud forest; take the treetops walkways (hanging bridges) consisting of a 1.9 mile (3-kilometre) trail and eight different bridges or enjoy a guided natural history walk. The Park also features a butterfly garden hosting more than 50 different species; a hummingbird garden, a treat for photography lovers, a large private insect collection and an interesting reptile and amphibian exhibition.

Selvatura Park’s Canopy Tour was built entirely inside the cloud forest. In this tour, visitors will cross through the cloud forest attached to a high weight capacity cable and using the best climbing gear.
This tour combines the thrill of adventure with a unique view point from the cloud forest canopy. The tour starts up at the main dressing room where the visitors will get geared up and will be taken to the instruction platform, for guidelines and instructions.  It covers a total of 2 miles of cable length and has 15 cables, 18 platforms and one Tarzan Swing.

After this thrilling experience, it´s time for the treetop walkways tour. This tour consists of 1.9 miles of trails in which visitors will walk on eight bridges of various lengths, ranging between 170 feet and 560 feet. Each bridge is 5 foot wide, with a capacity of 80 people per bridge.
The treetop walkways can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical conditions as most of the trails are flat and covered with special walking block for better traction. Visitors will be able to appreciate a wide variety of flora and can also observe the biodiversity of the cloudforest.
