The colonial style Hacienda Abraspungo is located at 2,754 metres above sea level and is surrounded by the magnificent Ecuadorian Andes. Named after a glacial valley, situated between the Chimborazo Volcano and Carihuairazo, the Hacienda Abraspungo features 38 comfortable, charming rooms with direct access to the beautiful gardens. All rooms feature TV, Wi-Fi and a safety deposit box. A number of activities can be done from the hacienda such as horseback riding, mountain biking, walking and hiking in nearby national parks as well as taking a journey of the world famous train to "The Devil's Nose". The Novoandina kitchen of Hacienda Abraspungo uses local indigenous ingredients such as quinoa, corn, chochos, beans, which are planted and harvested using ancient techniques. Local markets provide Hacienda Abraspungo chefs with inspiration to create special dishes, mixing culinary gourmet techniques with local flavours. Relax in the restaurant and bar of the hacienda next to the fireplace and enjoy a variety of cocktails, wines and spirits, surrounded by antiques and picturesque elements of the Andean region.
