Albemarle has a beachfront location, with the white sandy beaches of Puerto Villamil directly in front of the hotel. Palm trees line the waterfront, and the local populations of sea lions and marine iguanas are frequent visitors to the beach. Rooms are simply furnished, and equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, whilst there is a small plunge pool for guests to use. There are hammocks and various areas to relax, whilst there are also various visitor sites that you can get to on foot from the hotel, making this a good mid-range hotel base to explore Isabela Island.
