Ankasa Lodge is located along the Ankasa River on the boundary at the entrance to Ghana’s largest and most biologically diverse Upper Guinea rainforest - Ankasa Conservation Area. The beautiful location; relaxed open-air bar and restaurant; attentive yet unobtrusive service; and choice of executive chalets or mid-range and budget room options makes the lodge the perfect accommodation choice for anyone wanting to explore Ankasa Reserve and Nini-Suhien National Park. (We recommend the riverfront chalets). The chalets have air-conditioning and spacious, modern bathrooms (with shower), and private balcony.
Quality food and refreshments are served at the Bongo Bar and Restaurant. Surrounded by nature, the serene setting offers the perfect location in which to unwind and enjoy excellent local and international dishes, which are always freshly prepared by the chef and team. The daily specials board offers fine dining, with fresh fish, lobster and other culinary delights. A range of beers, wines and spirits are available, and guests are encouraged to try the Ankasa Lodge signature cocktail, “Soboteshie”.
A swimming pool should be completed by mid 2025.
