Les Dunes d'Ifaty offer very good standard of accommodation in Ifaty.
Set on the southern tip of Ifaty beach, its terraced bungalows have sweeping views over the Mozambique Channel and are well equipped with TV and 24hr electricity.
The central lodge and restaurant are open and tastefully decorated with a distinctive Malagasy style.
Les Dunes has a welcome swimming pool and offers a range of activities including badminton and volleyball. Quad biking, horse-riding and excursions to the nearby spiny forest are also readily arranged, as well as boat trips to the nearby coral reef for snorkelling and diving.
Food
Local produce inspires the seasonal menu of Malagasy and international dishes with seafood and fresh fruits in abundance. The beachfront bar overlooks the ocean and is a great place for a cold drink to escape the midday heat.
Please note that this is one of the properties in Madagascar which, in peak season (October) has been known to overbook.
