The little town of St Lucia, by Lake St Lucia, at the southern end of the beach, is a hub for all kinds of activities. You can cruise on the lake, go fishing, or kayaking, ride horses on the beach, or on forest trails, and explore the coastal forests, now a nature reserve with over 500 bird species. There is boat-based whale-watching between June and November. It’s a pleasant town, with two good seafood restaurants. St Lucia Wetlands is a four-star, six- bedroom, owner-run guesthouse, much loved by our clients. Your friendly hosts are experts on all the activities the area has to offer and will help you to book.
