Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma

On the edge of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park on the banks of the might Zambezi River is the enchanting Sussi and Chuma Lodge.

This upmarket lodge, named after David Livingstone’s faithful friends, is only 10 minutes upstream of the Victoria Falls.

The main lodge has only 12 luxury tree houses pavilions built into the shady canopy of giant ebony trees, each with private river views best enjoyed from you deck.

Rooms are linked to the main lodge via raised wooden walkways, which allow visiting hippo and elephant free access without compromising safety.

Split on two levels, the bar / lounge areas have spectacular views, the open air dining area bellow leads down to the swimming pool and lawns at the water’s edge.

In addition to this there are two private exclusive use houses perfect for families or small groups travelling together. Each house has two en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounge, dinning room, outer deck with private plunge pool and meals prepared by your private chef.

Your stay is inclusive of some activities which include game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, early morning or sunset river cruises, a cultural tour of Livingstone including a visit to the Museum and the Simonga Village, a guided tour of the Victoria Falls and rain forest on the Zambian side, a shopping tour in Livingstone town, fishing on the Zambezi River.

Not forgetting the variety of additional activities such as white water rafting, canoeing, helicopter and microlight adventures, horseback safaris, elephant back safaris and lion walks as well as bungee jumping.
