On the northern tip of Pemba, Manta Resort has a great location on an idyllic beach overlooking the Pemba Channel.
This is a very comfortable lodge.
The garden rooms are open plan makuti thatched non air-conditioned rooms with a centered king size bed covered by a mosquito net, en-suite, open plan bathroom and a private verandah.
Two pairs make up the four air conditioned superior garden rooms with partial views of the sea with a king size four poster bed and private makuti thatch covered veranda.
One of the two pairs has an interconnecting door, making it perfect for families.
There are six newly built spacious, luxury sea front villas with air- conditioning villas with a centered king size bed, a large en-suite bathroom and a secluded veranda with ocean views.
There is an open-air bar and restaurant. The Kipepeo Spa offers a range of massages and treatments. The Manta Resort is all-inclusive, and that includes a daily spa session and daily excursion – to the village, to the fishmarket, to ancient Ngezi Forest, on a spice tour and so on – as well as many other activities.
