Aqua Nera Amazon Cruise

Newly designed in 2020, the Aqua Nera Amazon cruise offers guests the chance to experience the Amazon Rainforest in the comfort of a top-of-the-range small expedition ship. 

Itineraries are for three-, four- and seven-night trips along the Amazon River, and operate in the low and high-water seasons between the ports of Nauta and Iquitos in the northern Amazon region of Peru. The 20 spacious suites are 30sqm in size and spread over two levels, and come equipped with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, an inviting day bed or sofa to take advantage of the views straight into the jungle, air conditioning and a useful free laundry service that operates throughout the day. There are 44 crew members assigned to every voyage, including four naturalist guides to ensure you maximise your land and water-based excursions in groups no larger than ten people. 

The top-deck lounge, plunge pool and bar area have great views to both sides of the boat, and the all-inclusive drinks package included in the cruise complements the outstanding food service that includes a selection of typical Amazonian ingredients and Peruvian dishes. Excursions are operated throughout the day, with options for wildlife-focused boat rides before breakfast and after dinner on certain days, while there's also a strong emphasis on cultural experiences and possibilities to interact with local villages living in this remote part of the Amazon.
