Combine two exceptional Southern African experiences to create an enriching wildlife and beach holiday on this 11-night example itinerary*.

Starting with a safari in the big cat-rich Sabi Sands Private Reserve, you’ll spend four nights at Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge and enjoy twice-daily game drives in open safari vehicles. Alongside this, you’ll also experience a guided bush walk. Throughout the reserve, you have a great chance of spotting the ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.

After four incredible nights in South Africa, you’ll cross over to Mozambique for a further five nights, where you’ll enjoy time on Ponta Mamoli – a golden beach north of the Kosi Bay border. During this, you’ll be staying at White Pearl Resorts, which features a comprehensive PADI dive centre with various courses and the option to go snorkelling in search of bottlenose dolphins.

*This example itinerary can be fully tailored to suit your preferences. Please speak with our Travel Specialists, who’ll be more than happy to curate something more bespoke to you.

Itinerary

Depart from London on your direct overnight flight to Johannesburg.
On arrival in the morning, check in for your mid-morning light aircraft flight to the northern part of Sabi Sands which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. After touching down, transfer to Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge for a four-night stay with all meals, teas and coffees, twice-daily game drives in open safari vehicles and a guided bush walk included.
In the early morning, depart from the lodge to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and board a light aircraft flight to Maputo, Mozambique. On arrival, you'll transfer to White Pearl Resort for a five-night stay in a Pool Suite, with all meals and local drinks included. White Pearl has a comprehensive PADI dive centre that offers a full range of courses and dives to the reefs in the area. There are snorkelling trips, too, with a good chance of seeing bottlenose dolphins, deep sea sport fishing and seasonal Marine Turtle Nesting Monitoring.
Return via a light aircraft flight to Maputo Airport to meet your return scheduled flight to Johannesburg, in time for your early evening overnight flight to London.
