This exciting four star safari and beach holiday combining South Africa and Mauritius is an ideal choice for those who want to experience both adventure and relaxation at exceptionally good value.

Starting the 13 day trip is a four day stay at the fair-trade, eco-friendly Kololo Game Reserve set in the natural splendour of the beautiful Limpopo Province. Kololo Game reserve in combination with neighbouring Welgevonden Reserve offers some of the best safari experiences just a short 3.5 hr drive from Johannesburg. Enjoy game drives across  the savannah grass plains against the backdrop of the mountain and valley landscape. Any stay at Kololo promises to be an authentic experience of the African bush.

From here you will jet off for a week spent on a Mauritius beach at the deluxe all inclusive Tamassa. It is up to you whether you spend your days reclining in the sun, making the most of the poolside service, or diving parts of the coral reef which almost completely encircles the island, looking for parrot fish, angelfish, moray eels and crayfish with one of the resort’s five-star PADI qualified diving instructors.

However you decide to spend your beach week you will be able to enjoy the hotel’s two restaurants and the night time offering of two bars and the Jalsa night club, the only beach hotel in the south to have its own club.

Book this unforgettable holiday, with the exhilarating adventure of safari paired with the idyllic beach life, all while staying in quality accommodation.

Itinerary

Depart London Heathrow on the overnight flight to Johannesburg. Please contact us for regional departures often at the same or lower cost.
Arrive at Johannesburg Airport, collect your hire care and depart for the easy three and a half hour drive towards the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. Located in one of the most fascinating and bio-diverse areas of South Africa, one of the Kololo Game Reserve’s comfortable and welcoming chalets will be your home for the next four nights. Your stay will include dinner and breakfast, a daily game drive in the neighbouring Welgevonden Game Reserve and an abundance of other activities on offer.
Spend the day on safari at Kololo with a morning or afternoon game drive in Welgevonden, keeping your eyes peeled for the safari favourites including elephants, buffalo, giraffe, lions along with some of the more unusual and rare species such as the brown hyena and the blue crane.
Staying at   Kololo Game Reserve
Enjoy a second full day of safari options as well as making the most of the trails of Kololo, exploring the wilderness of the trails by foot, bike or horseback, making the most of your vast, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. You may also choose to visit the nearby township or the Cheetah and Wildlife ranch dedicated to the protection of Cheetah and Wilddog.
Staying at   Kololo Game Reserve
Your final full day in the bush. Enjoy activities on offer or choose to relax and take in your surroundings at the beautiful blue pool. Bird watching from the lodge is also spectacular.
