Within Namibia’s vast wildernesses and rocky deserts there is a great diversity of wildlife that has adapted to the harsh conditions. Game-viewing here can be harder work here but none the less rewarding. The Etosha National Park is an exception however as tens of thousands of animals gather at its waterholes in the dry season, including elephant, lion and all the plains game. The Africat sanctuary for rescued cheetah, lion and leopard is inspirational and a ‘must visit’.
