Belmond Hotel Monasterio

Few hotels in the world can boast such a storied history as the Belmond Monestario. Built in 1595 on top of an Inca palace, the former Spanish monastery located on quaint Plazoleta Nazarenas, offers a fusion of contemporary luxury and traditional style. Exquisite art adorns the walls, there is a series of courtyards, a baroque chapel and a 300 year old cedar tree. Its 126 rooms and suites were dormitories for the Jesuits once stationed in the monastery and no two are exactly alike.
