For an unforgettable 12-night escape, combine an exciting Big Five safari in Kenya's legendary Masai Mara with rest and relaxation time on Praslin in the Seychelles.

The world-renowned Masai Mara in Kenya teems with an astonishing variety of wildlife, which you can enjoy observing while savouring the quintessential African savannah and bush scenery across three days.

Kicheche Valley Camp is where you'll stay. Located in the Naboisho Conservancy, you have access to savannah grassland plains, acacia woodlands, riverine acacia forest and rocky hills - the ideal landscape for herbivores to graze and predators to hide! Naboisho also has the highest population of giraffe in the Mara, which you may see at the water source close to the lodge.

White coral sand beaches, warm azure seas, dramatic granitic boulders and swaying palm trees make the Seychelles an alluring beach destination and the perfect contrast to the adventure of wildlife watching.

During the seven days you spend on Praslin, you have plenty of things to see and do. The island has small, sheltered coves with granite boulders and long beaches of fine, white sand you can unwind on, bordered by palm and takamaka trees. You may want to visit Curieuse, with its colony of giant land tortoises, or Ile St Pierre for some excellent snorkelling adventures.

This sample itinerary is just an example of how you can achieve these wonderful twin-centre combination holidays - if you'd prefer other camps or national parks in Kenya, and/or a different island or hotel in the Seychelles, call our team for a tailored quotation. We'd be delighted to assist!

Itinerary

Depart on your overnight flight from London Heathrow to Nairobi, via Doha.

On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport this morning, you'll be met and transferred to the Wilson Airport for your light aircraft transfer into the Masai Mara.

On arrival into the airstrip, you'll be welcomed and transferred to Kicheche Valley Camp for a three-night stay, with all meals, laundry, transfers and game drives in custom built 4×4 vehicles for two excursions daily, included.

These game drives take you into the Naboisho Conservancy, where you can expect to see some incredible game.

Enjoy these next two nights at one of Africa's premier wildlife-watching locations, one where sighting most of the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and Cape buffalo) is certainly a possibility.

Air transfer back to Nairobi Wilson Airport and check in for your flight to Mahe, the Seychelles.

On arrival, check in for the 15-minute flight to the island of Praslin, the second largest in the Seychelles archipelago.

Enjoy your seven-night stay at the charming four-star, Seychellois-style L’Archipel Hotel - which has panoramic views of its one-kilometre stretch of beach and a sparkling infinity pool. Your meal plan is half board.

Praslin has pretty beaches (especially Anse Lazio) and the tropical Vallée de Mai with its massive Coco-de-Mer palms. You'll also have easy access to the smaller islands nearby, such as La Digue, Curieuse and Ile Ste Pierre.

There's plenty to see and do during the rest of your trip in the Seychelles.

Luxuriate by the beach or go exploring. We certainly recommend a visit to Vallee de Mai, where you might see rare birds like the Seychelles black parrot, now numbering - at the most - some 600 individuals.

We also recommend visiting La Digue, a beautiful island readily accessible by means of daily ferry. Ask at reception for details.

If you're keen on outdoor activities, speak with reception at the hotel about arranging sightseeing. Or, perhaps experience marine activities like snorkelling - this could be around Curieuse, for example.

Staying at   L'Archipel
Finally, you'll be transferred to Praslin Airport to check in for the quick flight back to Mahe. On arrival, check in for your international flight home back to London Heathrow.
