What better way to start you honeymoon than with some relaxation on the pristine Zanzibar coast before flying into the vast Selous National Park for a safari in open four-wheel drive vehicles, on foot and by boat. Your adventure continues to the Tanzanian coast for relaxing on the fabulous stretches of beaches.

Itinerary

Depart from London Heathrow on your overnight flight to Zanzibar via Doha.
On arrival into Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred by road to Pongwe Beach Hotel for three nights with dinner and breakfast included. Here you can relax on the white- sand beach that is situated on a private at the back of a coral lagoon. This beach is protected by an offshore reef which keeps the waters calm to swim in. Choose to arrange snorkelling or boat trips here.
Today you will be transferred back to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Selous / Nyerere National park via Dar Es Salaam for a 3 night stay at Siwandu Camp, with all meals, park fees and scheduled safari activities included. At Siwandu you have a choice of safari activities from open 4x4 safari vehicles, guided bush walks or from the river in sturdy motorised metal boat with canopies for your comfort. The guide will discuss the options available and you will be able to decide your preference the evening before. Your safari day in the Selous works slightly differently from the norm, as you have breakfast in camp and then head out on the activity which lasts until lunch time. Return to camp for lunch and afternoon siesta and the afternoon drive goes out late afternoon and returns directly after sunset.
A short light aircraft flight via Dar Es Salaam takes you to Mafia Island. On arrival you will be transferred by road to Pole Pole for a 4 night stay with all meals included. Here you can enjoy a daily boat excursion to go snorkelling, see Chole Island, the Kua ruins, Juani Channel to name a few.
Road transfer back to Mafia airport for your flight to Dar Es Salaam and onward back to London via Doha.
