Itinerary

Depart on early evening flight from London Heathrow to Johannesburg.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, check in for your onward flight to Richards Bay on SA Express. Here you will be collected and transferred to &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge. Set within easy reach of the Indian Ocean coastline and the famous iSimangaliso Wetland Park in northern KwaZulu-Natal, Phinda is known for its diversity of habitats, abundant wildlife and wide range of safari activities. Spend three nights at &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge. The air-conditioned suites feature a sitting area, personal bar and full en suite bathroom with romantic al fresco shower. Enjoy the views from your veranda complete with private plunge pool. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, laundry and daily safari activities.
Thanks to its coastal rainfall pattern, the Reserve enjoys a lush green environment that contains seven distinct ecosystems. This varied landscape and vegetation shelters an abundance of wildlife, including not only the Big-Five but many rarer and less easily spotted species, such as the elusive cheetah or the scarce black rhino. This is one of the only places where you can track the endangered rhino on foot, an experience of a lifetime!
Staying at   Phinda Game Reserve
With only a handful of lodges sharing an area of 23 000 hectares, and expert rangers and trackers in search of prime wildlife sightings, guests are assured an exclusive game viewing experience. Optional adventures include scuba diving, fishing and even turtle watching in the nearby Sodwana Bay on the coast. &Beyond Phinda has always had a very strong contribution to responsible tourism and they have many projects that they are involved with, one of them being the Rhino without borders, where they have been part of a project relocating rhino to a safe - undisclosed area to try and help increase the population. Speak to one on our specialists for more information on the various projects that they are involved in.
Staying at   Phinda Game Reserve
After breakfast transfer to the border post at Kosi Bay, where you clear customs and immigration and enter Mozambique. A White Pearl Resorts representative will collect you at the border for the road transfer to the lodge. Relax for four nights at White Pearl Resorts, Ponta Mamoli, Mozambique, in a pool suite with an ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower, private deck and private plunge pool. Your stay includes all meals, canapés at the pool bar, high tea, day time snacks, mini bar snacks, teas, coffees, bottled mineral water, local beers, soft drinks, selection of spirits, house wines, private butler service, laundry service, 1GB complimentary Wi-Fi per suite, horse riding on the beach, town tour, stargazing/moongazing, private dining, beach picnic, refresher neck-and-back massage as well as nonmotorised activities.
Stretching 500 kms up Mozambique’s coast from Ponta Do Ouro in the south, the Lagoon Coast is the name given to an extraordinarily beautiful region encompassing a series of serene coastal lagoons, a number of them cut off from the sea by some of the world’s highest forested sand dunes.
Staying at   White Pearl Resorts
The waters off the coast are home to various species of turtles, sharks and dolphins, while on land ancient elephant migration routes are protected in the Maputo Elephant Reserve, where mangroves and reed swamps give way to dense forests.
Staying at   White Pearl Resorts
Spend your final day relaxing at this beautiful resort in the stunning sunshine.
Staying at   White Pearl Resorts
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg and onward to London.
Arrive back into London in the morning.
