Best time to go
When to go:
St Helena is a year round destination. Summer is from December to March and the Winter is from May to August. Diving is at its best in the summer months with the arrival of Whale Sharks in January through to March.
Getting there:
One flight a week with South African Express.
Health:
There is a small general hostipal on the island that has 54 beds, all visitors are advised to have medical insurance.
Visa:
British nationals do not need a visa.
